Inspection date: 22 September 2009
Although PTcoaching and leisure services is not actually mentioned in this report, during the Ofsted visit, the school requested that we took the gymnastic classes on all the days that the inspectors were present. The headteacher, Mrs Gibney is happy to be contacted for references.

The Hall School - Independent School
Inspection Report - 8th February 2007
"The teaching seen in ....physical education was outstanding. What pupils are to learn in lessons is usually stated at the beginning of each lesson. They also know what they need to do to improve through the targets they have agreed with their teachers. ............. There are high expectations of pupils. Questioning is probing, challenges pupils’ thinking and problem solving skills effectively, and is well matched to their capabilities." p4
St George's First and Middle School
Inspection Report- 16th May 2005
"For the past four years the School has employed a specialist teacher who is responsible for much of the delivery of Physical Education. His knowledge of individual pupils and what they are capable of is thorough, enabling him to make demands on them that are realistic but challenging. This is highly effective in moving them all on at a very good rate in their learning. Regular assessment of individual pupils' work, fed back to class teachers, provides a clear picture of pupils' good achievement and progress." p32
