These sessions are designed to provide children with a structured and professional introduction to Gymnastics, as well as offering teaching staff an opportunity to be released for PPA time.
We aim to offer a professional service giving the children a fun and structured introduction to Gymnastics, making sure that whatever the level the children are at, they will have achievable and challenging goals.
During a typical term the lessons will include warm up games, stretching and conditioning as part of their body preparation. All basic floor and vault skills will be covered, as well as partner work (sports acrobatics) and linked moves (routines).
Every lesson will finish with a cool down session ensuring that the children are calm yet mentally energised when they return to their class teacher.
In addition to these taught sessions we will provide a report on each child at the end of the term, based upon ongoing assessment during each session.
We will provide two coaches per session, whom are fully qualified with the British Gymnastics Association, have had recent CRB checks, and have all attended child protection courses.
All of the coaching team are experienced and have taught children from three to sixteen years old at all levels. This experience includes working in nurseries, schools and gymnastics clubs.
